Solomon Paley, MD

Early Life

Dr. Paley was born and raised in Houston, TX. He credits his work ethic to both of his parents. Growing up he traveled all over South Texas to the Panhandle with his family. His father was a successful traveling salesman in the cotton gin industry and his mother was the founder the UOS Goldberg Montessori School in Houston, TX. At a very young age Dr. Paley knew medicine was his calling, eventually settling him in San Antonio in private practice.

Education

Dr. Paley is a proud Texas Aggie Class of 1984 with a degree in Biomedical Science. In 1986 he received his M.S. in Biological Science from East Tennessee State University. He obtained his M.D. from The University of Texas Health Science Center in San
Antonio in 1993. Dr. Paley completed his residency at John Peter Smith Hospital, Ft. Worth, TX in Family Practice in 1996.

Career

After residency, Dr. Paley decided to open his own private practice in San Antonio, TX. He has served San Antonio’s medical community for over 20 years. Providing quality of care, little to no wait times, accessibility, committing to excellence, and setting and achieving health goals with our patients are some of the core values Dr. Paley has integrated in his practice. The combination of physicians and employees working together to improve patient care is his commitment. Dr. Paley honor’s those who have served our country making sure they receive the highest level of care provided by our staff and health providers. Jennifer Coffel, FNP

Early Life

Jennifer was born in El Paso, Texas but was raised in Springfield, Missouri. As a child she always knew that she wanted to pursue a career in the medical field having her father as an RN in the family. After high school she decided to follow her father’s footsteps and become a Registered Nurse. Once she became an RN, Jennifer realized that she wanted to have more of an impact on people’s lives.  Going back to school to continue her education to become a Family Nurse Practitioner was her next goal.

Career

While pursuing her nursing degree she worked as a CNA in a nursing home for a year.  Upon graduation she chose a position as an RN at Mercy Hospital, Springfield Missouri.  Jennifer quickly thrived and was promoted to the ICU where she was given more of a challenge and could apply her critical thinking skills.  Jennifer moved a year later to San Antonio and continued to work in the ICU at Methodist Hospital and SAMC while obtaining her Master’s degree.  She has now joined the PaleyMD team practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Family

Jennifer married her high school sweetheart has three wonderful boys; Shawn, Jason and Elijah. They keep her and her husband very busy with sports all year long.  Jennifer enjoys traveling all over the country for tournaments with her sons, grilling out on the weekends, and being home for family time & fellowship.


 

Kimberly Ha, FNP

Kimberly is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong foundation in critical care and a passion for preventative health. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, graduating magna cum laude, and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Outstanding Graduate Student Award. With over a decade of experience in the ICU as both a bedside and charge nurse, Kimberly witnessed firsthand how many chronic illnesses could have been prevented with earlier intervention. This inspired her to pursue advanced practice, with the goal of helping patients stay well and avoid serious complications through comprehensive primary care.

Career & Family

As a nurse practitioner since 2013, Kimberly has worked across various healthcare settings including internal medicine, hospice, psychiatric care, long-term acute care, and skilled nursing facilities. She is committed to providing thoughtful, personalized care and values building long-term relationships with her patients.
Outside of work, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, attending church, reading, treasure-hunting at rummage sales, and cheering from the sidelines at her kids’ sporting events.

 


Kylie Fonteno, PA-C

Kylie Fonteno is a compassionate healthcare professional with a deep passion for volunteering her medical expertise to underserved international communities. A native of Texas, Kylie has committed herself to global service, traveling abroad twice a year for six weeks at a time to provide vital medical care to those in need.

Her journey has taken her to various countries across the globe, where she works tirelessly to bring healing, hope, and support to individuals who may otherwise go without proper medical attention. Fluent in both Hindi and American Sign Language, Kylie breaks down language barriers to ensure that every patient feels heard, seen, and cared for.

Beyond her medical missions, Kylie finds strength and inspiration through her strong church community, where she remains actively involved. She also treasures spending quality time with her family and friends and has a deep love for exploring new places and cultures.

Kylie’s dedication to service, faith, and connection with others continues to inspire all those around her.

Career

Kylie has been a physician assistant specializing in diabetes and heart disease since 2009. She has worked in family and internal medicine during her career as a PA. She prides herself on excellent reduction of diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, and weight management. Kylie collaborates with the patients to establish health goals which have made her outcomes favorable.

 


Loki – Chief Greeter & Hug Expert at PaleyMD

Loki joined the PaleyMD family after being adopted at one year old, and he’s been stealing hearts ever since. Born with a shortened leg, Loki doesn’t let anything slow him down—especially not when it’s time for walks! Out and about, you’ll see him proudly strutting in his custom prosthetic, turning heads and inspiring smiles wherever he goes.
At PaleyMD, Loki’s official role is “Greeter Extraordinaire,” but he’s best known for giving the absolute best hugs. Whether you’re a patient, visitor, or staff member, Loki’s gentle spirit and warm cuddles are sure to brighten your day. His presence is a daily reminder of strength, resilience, and unconditional love.


 

Moishe – Junior Greeter & Chief Mischief Maker at PaleyMD

Meet Moishe, the youngest (and most mischievous!) member of the PaleyMD pup crew. As Loki’s little brother, he’s full of energy, curiosity, and fun. Always on the move, Moishe brings a playful spirit to the clinic and keeps everyone smiling with his lovable antics.
Despite his cheeky nature, Moishe has a gentle heart and a special love for children—and treats, of course! He often joins patients in the exam room, offering comfort and a calming presence during their visits. His sweet demeanor and wagging tail have a magical way of easing nerves and lifting spirits.
Moishe has quickly become a beloved part of the PaleyMD greeting team, spreading joy and warmth wherever he goes.
